Spring Cleaning Checklist

Spring is on the horizon. Singing birds, blooming flowers and increasing temperatures are on the way, which means it’s time for Spring cleaning. For many, Spring cleaning is a daunting task. But have no fear, the Blythe Real Estate Team has put together a handy checklist to help you get started.

Parcel Out Your Cleaning Goals

Making an action plan will make any large task more manageable. Focus room by room to be most efficient. Remember that you don’t have to do everything all at once. Try deep cleaning one major area per weekend. Not only will this make the task more manageable, but you also won’t feel the need to hurry through each room.

Don’t Forget to Clean Overlooked Surfaces

Dusting baseboards, washing walls, cleaning sliding door and window tracks, and vacuuming under furniture are all things that get missed in day-to-day cleaning. These just happen to be places we don’t typically look at closely in our day-to-day lives. However, once you see how dusty or dirty they are, you won’t be able to stop noticing it.

In Summary

Spring cleaning can be a daunting task, but it doesn’t have to be. Try to spread it out over several weekends and focus on one thing at a time, and you will get done in no time. We hope you can use this checklist to help you tackle your Spring Cleaning. Is there anything that you’d add to your Spring cleaning list? Let us know in the comments!
